Your photographer has chosen
to display your images on the web, using Preview Gallery....
because it is a very easy system to use!!!
Your photographer should
have given you an "Address" to direct you to your event.
It will look like this:
http://www.previewgallery.com/studioname/
or
http://www.previewgallery.com/studioname/youreventname
If you are directed to the
Photographer's Main Page, you will see a few lines of text that might
tell you a little something about the Photographer and their experience,
or sales procedures while using Preview Gallery.
At the bottom of the text
you will find a link that will take you to the Online Photos.. You will find all the Events that are available for "Public
Viewing".
We have 2
different pages that photographers use to direct you to events.
1. On the right side of the screen you will find a few lines, or
paragraphs of information about the studio. At the bottom of the
text, you will find this link: Please click here for our list of online photo galleries.
Click the link and it will take you to the list of events online.
2. On the
main page of the photographer's gallery, you will find the events
listed on the left side of the page. scroll through the list to find
your event.
Hidden Events (Password Protected)
If your Event is hidden from
Public Viewing, your Photographer probably gave you a direct URL (web
address link) to your Event.
Be sure you copied and pasted the link
(if it did not work when you clicked on it in the email
they may have sent you)
into your internet Address bar, NOT an
AOL, Google, Yahoo, or other Search box.
When you arrive at your
Event, you will see thumbnail images. You can click on any image
and it will appear in the large box on the screen.
In addition to the main image viewing screen, here are a variety of
other screens available for viewing your images..
Compare Screen
You can compare images side by side to pick your favorites. Then order
your prints.
Your Photographer may have
selected certain types of images to be displayed as full size on your
screen so that you can see the facial expressions easier.
These Full Size Images are
usually family groups, or other images where there are many subjects in
the picture and the faces are small.
You don't order prints from
the full screen view page. You can use theses images to make choices,
then go back to the Order Screen to order.
Your Photographer may choose
to limit the amount of time your event is available for viewing. If you
arrive at your Event, and you see that message, contact the photographer
for details about releasing the Event for display again for you.
Your Photographer decides
what to offer for sale. They can offer individual prints and packages.
You can order any quantities
you need for any item offered.
Your photographer will
designate the shipping and payment options available for you to use.
Click the buttons to decide how to pay and the shipping option. (if
there are more than one)
Our system is designed for
you to use any major credit card your Photographer chooses to offer.
They may not accept credit cards at all. Or, they may ask you to contact
them directly and give them your credit card information. You will see
the available options in the shopping cart.
If they do accept credit
cards online, the service provider is PayPal. You do not need a PayPal
account. PayPal is simply our gateway for payment. If you do have a
PayPal account, you may choose to pay with it.
Your Photographer handles
all of your order requirements. Based on your conversations with them,
you should have an idea how you will receive your order.
We only supply the Web
Hosting Image Display system for your images.
All Online Print Ordering is
handled directly with your Photographer.
Sometimes you may have the
wrong URL address for a Photographer, or even an Event. We will try and
help you find your Event, but we really don't have any way to find it
unless we know who your Photographer is.
Your best action is to
contact a friend who can direct you to the Photographer of your Event
and get their contact information. Get in touch with the Photographer
and start your search over again.
We will gladly help you find your event if other
options leave you "lost". simply send us an email with some details
about where you live (in the country, state, city), the
photographer's name, as best you know it, and the type of event you
are looking for.
